Cremation and Euthanasia Services
Private Cremation Services: Provided to families who have recent lost their beloved pet. Cremation is sterile, odor free and economical and is the preferred choice of many pet guardians. Each animal presented for private cremation is treated with care and compassion by our trained staff. Ashes are returned in a decorative urn.
Owner Requested Euthanasia: Making a decision to end your pets suffering is heartbreaking. For many of us, the cost of ending our pets life at the veterinarians office is difficult due to expense. The HSEP offers low cost euthanasia services for owned animals. We can not provide owner present services or grief counseling and recommend you seek assistance from your vet should you wish to be with your pet as it passes.

Cat Cremation: $75.00
Euthanasia & Dog Cremation: $135.00

Rabbit, Ferret, Bird Cremation: $25.00
Owner Surrender
To surrender your pet, your pet must be healthy, friendly and under 6yrs. of age. We highly recommend you try to find a family member or friend who can care for your pet to avoid bringing to the shelter. Though, we understand not all the time is that possible. If we have space we will greatly take in your pet. However if we don't, you will have to wait until a space opens up.
The surrender fees are:
$ 35 for each one/ or up to 4 in a litter
$5 for each additional litter mate after 4
If you provide proof of micro-chip, vaccinations and of your pet being spayed/neutered, then the fee will decrease to $15.
